What now seems like a lifetime ago, my boyfriend and I had the most incredible holiday in Italy where we travelled along the Amalfi Coast for a week. I had never been to Italy before and the combination of amazing food, stunning views and family culture it's safe to say I will be revisiting!

Taking my beautiful new American Tourister Soundbox Suitcase for it's first spin to Naples Airport. This was my first ever 4 wheels case which is a real game changer. I used a size medium which was the perfect size for a week's worth of summer clothes, including a few too many shoes. The case also comes with a built in 3 digit lock so you know your valuables are safe. However, I learnt an important lesson which is - do not leave your 4 wheel suitcase unattended on a moving train/tube...

I ended up booking the holiday very last minute (3 weeks before!) after a lot of debating of where to go, and found a lovely place in Maiori. We booked an apartment at Residence due Torri, right on the beach front and a 5 minute walk from the town.

To our complete surprise, our apartment was connected to the most beautiful 4 star Hotel due Torri 2 minutes down the road. We had access to the most amazing panoramic rooftop that had the breakfast buffet and dining area, bar and a pool. Paying the apartment prices with access to all of the hotel perks we literally felt like we had hit the jackpot and was one of the many reasons that made our trip so incredible!

My favourite thing about the Amalfi Coast, and why I would encourage everyone to visit, is that there are so many towns along the coast that are different but equally beautiful to explore. I would recommend travelling to each town by boat, as it is the same price as a bus and you miss all the deadly, winding roads and traffic. I never normally get travel sick, but those hairpin roads can be lethal! Plus I'll take any opportunity to travel by boat.

M A I O R I - Has the largest beach and is more of a family place with amazing restaurants overlooking the sea.  There are limited bars and nightlife. I am very glad we stayed here as it was not too touristy and was quite a large town with a relaxed vibe and many beautiful beach coves.

A M A L F I  - Beautiful tourist town, quite small with many shops and a lot more culture. Very busy on the weekends and the centre for bus services. Perfect for a day trip.

R A V E L L O - Up in the mountains, the most incredible views and beautiful gardens to explore with a lot of culture. We visited Ravello on the same day as Amalfi.
