BERRY BOWL






Every Saturday, I like to try and make a smoothie bowl in the morning as a quick healthy start to the day. I am still quite new when experimenting with healthy options, but this berry bowl of goodness is easy for a beginner and is like a fruity, natural sorbet!

S M O O T H I E

1 Frozen banana
Handful of frozen blueberries
Handful of strawberries
Handful of raspberries
Almond milk

T O P P I N G S

Blueberries
Strawberries
Chia Seeds
(Coconut flakes)

By freezing the banana and blueberries the night before, it creates a thick ice-cream texture. Blueberries are such a great superfood because they are full of antioxidant and do not lose their nutrients once frozen, where so many other fruits do. Chia seeds are also a great superfood addition as that are energy boosting, digested easily and add texture to the smoothie.
