Each month, I am going to post a shopping edit of my favourite new-in items, and what better way to start than with your wardrobe essentials for 2016.
I have chosen a very minimal, core focused selection that has either been sitting in my basket for a few days, or I have already purchased (clutch and shoes!). Each item I have chosen is not only a basic must-have, but is also trend focused which will help refresh and update your wardrobe for the new year.
Update your classic Ray-Ban aviators for the beautiful new Celine style (also available in brown), for a 70s aesthetic and a more transparent lense. Another accessory to invest in is an enormous patchwork clutch which I plan on using at London Fashion Week so I can fit everything I need (and more) inside.
Moving onto clothing which has to start with a fresh plain white tee, tucked underneath a (not black but) navy leather jacket for a slight colour change-up. Just when I thought I didn't need any more jeans... designers and high-street brands keep creating new and exciting denim details! Whether it's fringed hems, cropped legs or white painted stripes like this Topshop pair, it is very hard to resist wanting more.
Maybe an update for your current sliders, or maybe an excuse to wear something other than Stan Smiths (guilty), these beautiful, knotted sliders are minimal with a twist (literally). I have listed the links below... happy shopping!
